Prepared for Applefest, October 2, 2011, Warwick NY
MMMmmmmm....Cookie Jar
Face Jug Soap Pumps
Preview of what's to come
Time for a preview of the work I'm doing right now! The family is expanding.... and I think they're a fun bunch for sure.
I'll be at Applefest with Fired Arts Collective in Warwick, NY in October, then hopefully Mountainside with the Potters' Guild of NJ in November, and certainly with Icehouse Pottery in December in Riverdale, NJ. That all means I need to have plenty of work ready since my day job stops me from putting in long hours to replenish between the shows.
So, take a look at the shot glassses, toothpick holders, and soap pumps I'm working on - so far, so good!
Salt and Pepper Shakers!
Too late for the brown set - they've been adopted by Jack and Harriet. May 2011

The Garlic Jar Series
Here's the latest version of my face jugs - garlic jars! They sit down on your counter while you look down and laugh along with the funny faces with pins on their noses. Join them in asking "What's that funny smell??"
Come see them at their debut at the Spring 2011 Mountainside Show on April 30 and May 1, 2011. Details follow below!

Update on Pottery by SuN.
I know that based on the entries here it looks like I'm not doing much, but I'm getting back into throwing after a long love affair with the gnomes and will have more pictures for this soon!
Icehouse Pottery Show - Finished for another few months at least!
We closed the show at 5PM tonight - another successful year; it's always so nice to leave with empty boxes rather than the heavy boxes we lugged in. Looks like we have two new members and a possible 3 more. They found out about us through various sources - friends, Internet, publications, and newsletters. That, on top of the members culling their stock and making room for their next best idea ever.... it's been a great year and it's all looking up.
Icehouse Pottery Show - Still open, Sunday 12/06/09
Day One - Icehouse Pottery Show
Every Home Needs a Gnome (and these gnomes need homes!)
These gnomes will be available for Christmas gifts (children, teachers, office grab bag, administrative assistant? The gnomes do not discriminate and will be a happy and pleasant companion - no mischief - they promised - seriously.) Give a smile and a giggle that lasts all year! Also - if you are a potter looking for a studio - we're accepting applications. Come meet us, see the studio and know that even a potter needs a home!
Latest Faces - Stories to Come
Professor Reginald
Madame Mary Mystique
Scatter Brains
Maxamillian
In his spare time he loves cigar bars.
That he is cliché does not matter.
But his polyester shirt is sadder.
My pal Max is 5.25" to the top of his head and 6" to the top of his handle. He's the first to insist on a "SEE gar" rather than a "Butt" for his smoke break. I'm sure it's a cheap cigar at that.
