Happy New Year!

All best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 2010 for all of us.

Icehouse Pottery Show - Finished for another few months at least!

We closed the show at 5PM tonight - another successful year; it's always so nice to leave with empty boxes rather than the heavy boxes we lugged in. Looks like we have two new members and a possible 3 more. They found out about us through various sources - friends, Internet, publications, and newsletters. That, on top of the members culling their stock and making room for their next best idea ever.... it's been a great year and it's all looking up.

Icehouse Pottery Show - Still open, Sunday 12/06/09

Day One - Icehouse Pottery Show

Mother Nature chose today to invite Old Man Winter into our house. While our visitors were steady, we'd hoped for more and look forward to tomorrow, once this weather turns into nothing. The up side is that several prospective members visited and checked us out; no one felt rushed and it was a lotof fun talking to them. There are some really interesting people thrilled to find a studio with openings in their own neighbourhood. The coming year looks fine indeed!

Every Home Needs a Gnome (and these gnomes need homes!)

These gnomes will be available for Christmas gifts (children, teachers, office grab bag, administrative assistant? The gnomes do not discriminate and will be a happy and pleasant companion - no mischief - they promised - seriously.) Give a smile and a giggle that lasts all year!

Also - if you are a potter looking for a studio - we're accepting applications. Come meet us, see the studio and know that even a potter needs a home!

Latest Faces - Stories to Come

Beanie Boy was adopted at Mountainside in April 2010 - I wasn't at the show yet when he left for his new home and if you are his new family, I'd love to hear from you; I'm at sunottin@gmail,com. Thanks! I know you and Beanie Boy will be very happy and I'm glad he finally spoke to someone. Obviously he was waiting for just the right person to come along before he revealed himself.

Baby Rattle

Adopted by Magda at the Hermitage!
Baby isn't scared anymore!

Professor Reginald

Professor Reginald will expound:
On the value of galaxies that surround
And beauties that always abound.
Alas, he is trapped here on the ground.
The good professor is 6 inches tall and is 7 inches tall with his bald pate in place.

Adopted by Judy at the Mountainside Show (Potters' Guild of NJ)

Madame Mary Mystique

Madame Mary Mystique’s own future
Does hide from her inner eye picture.
She can help others to move forward,
But wonders what she’s heading toward.

Madame Mary is 6 inches tall until she wears her turban and then she's 8inches!

Scatter Brains

This face jug is a rattle. So far, although I can hear his marbles, he's not using them to talk to me.

He's about 4 inches tall and solid round!

Adopted by Donna!
