Icehouse Pottery Show - Finished for another few months at least!
We closed the show at 5PM tonight - another successful year; it's always so nice to leave with empty boxes rather than the heavy boxes we lugged in. Looks like we have two new members and a possible 3 more. They found out about us through various sources - friends, Internet, publications, and newsletters. That, on top of the members culling their stock and making room for their next best idea ever.... it's been a great year and it's all looking up.
Icehouse Pottery Show - Still open, Sunday 12/06/09
Day One - Icehouse Pottery Show
Every Home Needs a Gnome (and these gnomes need homes!)

Also - if you are a potter looking for a studio - we're accepting applications. Come meet us, see the studio and know that even a potter needs a home!
Latest Faces - Stories to Come
Professor Reginald
Madame Mary Mystique
Scatter Brains
Maxamillian
In his spare time he loves cigar bars.
That he is cliché does not matter.
But his polyester shirt is sadder.
My pal Max is 5.25" to the top of his head and 6" to the top of his handle. He's the first to insist on a "SEE gar" rather than a "Butt" for his smoke break. I'm sure it's a cheap cigar at that.
Adopted by Michele at the Mountainside Show (Potters' Guild of NJ)
You Did WHAT?
Trixie
Trixie is very precocious
And her posture is atrocious.
Now her heavy favourite big books
Straighten her back and improve her looks.
Trixie is 6" to the top of her head and her books bring her up to 9" straight and tall wonderful posture!

Fun story about Trixie - Mum says that Trixie recalled for her grade three classes --- all the children were set to walking around their classroom daily with their texts on their heads to make sure they stood up straight. Trixie is pleased to know she's taking after such a wonderful woman!
And guess what else! Dad's favourite dog's name was Trixie - Trixie is running two for two - not bad.
And I know now why she's always smiling - Trixie has been adopted by Mum and Dad!
